Our Wednesday Art Classes earned their Special Art Day this past Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016.  When the students came into class there were 3 stations set up; one for model magic clay, drawing and bead art, one for making Italian Marbelized Paper (we watched a video about it too) and one to make “Slime”.  Need less to say, to the Slime was a BIG hit!!  The recipe is below.

Slime Recipe: 1 cup of water and 1 teaspoon of Borax mixed together.  Then in a separate container, 1/2 cup of Elmer’s white glue or clear glue, 2-4 drops of food coloring and 1/2 cup of water mixed together. Mix the Borax water and the glue water together in a bowl. Knead it with your hands and add glitter if you want, the more you knead it the more the water will mix in. Store in an air tight container or let it dry out in a plastic lid and use it as a window cling.  Enjoy!
